THE PRACTICAL DETAILS
Terms of use.
Effective date: 19 October 2026
These general terms apply to the lineat.dev website and to apps published by the independent developer behind lineat.dev (“developer”, “I”, or “me”). An app may have additional terms or notices; those apply to that app where stated. By using a website or app, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by the laws that apply to you.
Using the apps
You may use the apps for your personal, lawful purposes and in accordance with the rules of the platform from which you obtained them. Do not misuse an app, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
No professional advice or official record
Apps are general-purpose tools, not professional, financial, employment, payroll, legal, medical, or compliance advice. For Clocker in particular, time entries are provided as a convenience and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on the app as your sole or official record for payroll, legal, or compliance purposes. Keep backups and check important records independently.
Availability, changes, and support
Apps and this website are provided on an “as available” basis. Features, compatibility, distribution, or access may change, be suspended, or end at any time. The developer may discontinue an app, remove it from a store, or cease providing maintenance, updates, bug fixes, and support at any time, including after the standard support period associated with distribution through Google Play or Apple’s App Store. No additional support period or future update is promised.
Where available, support is best-effort and may be limited. Store availability and platform policies are controlled by their respective providers and can change independently.
No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the apps and website are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties or guarantees of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted access, or error-free operation.
Limits of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-data damages resulting from use or inability to use a website or app. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
Third-party services
Apps may rely on or link to third-party services, stores, or websites. Those services are operated under their own terms and privacy practices. The developer does not control their availability or content.
Privacy
How information is handled is described in the privacy notice and any app-specific disclosures. Review platform permission and data disclosures before use.
Changes and governing rules
These terms may be updated as apps or legal requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page. Applicable mandatory laws and consumer protections continue to apply. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
