CLEAR ABOUT DATA
Privacy.
Effective date: 19 October 2026
This notice describes the lineat.dev website and Clocker, the work time app for Android and iOS. It may be updated if the website, app features, or legal requirements change. Contact: lineat.dev@gamil.com.
lineat.dev website
This static website does not ask you to create an account and has no contact form. If you email the developer, your message and email address are received in order to reply and handle your request. Do not include sensitive information unless it is necessary. The website itself does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. The hosting provider may process basic technical request data to deliver and secure the site under its own policies.
Clocker data on your device
Clocker does not require an account and the developer does not operate a server that stores your app data. Jobs, work-hour settings, preferences, shift history, pause times, overtime balances, alert settings, active timers, and scheduled shift alerts are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. This app data is used to provide Clocker’s features and is not uploaded to a lineat.dev server. Android cloud backup for this app data is disabled.
You can choose to export a backup file or a work report. Export is initiated by you, and the file is saved to a location you select. Import reads only the file you choose. You are responsible for securing exported files.
Permissions and notifications
Clocker may request notification, exact-alarm, full-screen notification, Do Not Disturb, battery-optimization, and vibration permissions or settings so shift-end alerts can work. These permissions are used for the app features you enable. You can change permissions in device settings; alerts may be limited if permissions are denied. Operating-system behaviour and device settings affect alert delivery.
Advertising and third-party processing
Ad-supported versions of Clocker use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show ads. Google’s SDK may process device identifiers (including the advertising ID), IP address and approximate location, ad interactions, and diagnostic or performance information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, and service improvement. Whether ads are personalized depends on your region and consent choices. In the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, Google’s User Messaging Platform may be used to request consent. When available, ad privacy choices can be revisited in Clocker’s Options.
Google handles this processing under its own policies. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner apps. You can also review Google Ads settings. An ad-free build, if offered, does not initialize the advertising SDK.
Retention, deletion, and sharing
Clocker’s app data remains on your device until you remove it in the app or uninstall the app. The developer cannot access or delete local app data remotely because it is not received by a lineat.dev server. The developer does not sell your personal information. Google’s advertising processing is described above and is governed by Google’s policies.
Children and your choices
Clocker is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where privacy laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port personal information and to withdraw consent. Clocker’s local records can be accessed or deleted in the app; for information processed by Google, use Google’s controls or contact Google.
Security
Clocker’s data is kept in the app’s private storage and protected by the device operating system’s app sandbox. No storage method is completely secure. Protect your device and any backup files you create.
Other websites
Links to app stores, Google services, or other websites are governed by those services’ own privacy notices. The developer is not responsible for their independent practices.
